.It is spreading inflammation of subcutaneous and fascial planes. Infection may follow a small scratch or wound or incision. Causative Agents : Commonly due to Streptococcus pyogenes and other Gram +ve organisms. Sequelae Infection can get localized to form pyogenic abscess.
