Etiology of Uncomplicated UTI- E. Coli accounts for 75-90% of isolates. Staphylococcus saprophytics Klbsiella Proteus Enterococcus Citrobacter species Complicated UTI- E. Coli remains the predominant orgamism but other aerobic gram negative rods,such as pseudomonas aeruginosa, klebsiella,citrobacter,actinobacter ,morganella species , Gram positive bacteria(enterococci and staphylococcus aureus) and yeasts are also impoant pathogens in complicated UTI.
