In multiple myeloma , marrow plasmacytosis will be more than 10%.On serum electrophoresis ,the paraprotein usually appears as a single narrow homogenous M-band component. Most frequent paraprotein is IgG seen in about 50% cases of myeloma. Reactive plasmacytosis can occur in disorders such as aplastic anemia, rheumatoid ahritis ,SLE,cirrhosis of liver,metastatic cancer & chronic inflammation & infection such as tuberculosis .So ANA antibody may become positive .Reference :Harsh mohan textbook of pathology 6th edition pg no 382.
