Dysthymia also known as neurotic depression is a mood disorder consisting of chronic depression, with less severe but longer lasting symptoms than major depressive disorder. They will usually find little pleasure in usual activities and pastimes. Major depression significantly affects a person's family and personal relationships, work or school life, sleeping and eating habits, and general health. Chronic fatigue syndrome is a medical disorder or group of disorders generally defined by persistent fatigue accompanied by other specific symptoms for a minimum of six months in adults (and 3 months in children/adolescents), not due to ongoing exeion, not substantially relieved by rest, nor caused by other medical conditions.
