Normal body propoion in adults Height = arm span Upper segment= lower segment Normal body propoion in infants is Height ( length)> arm span Upper segment> Lower segment. Infantile propoion means increased upper to lower segment ratio. Seen in conditions like Achondroplasia and hypothyroidism. Reverse infantile propoion means increased lower segment.
