It inhibits biliary excretion of rifampicin. Salicylates block uricosuric action of probenecid. Probenecid inhibits tubular secretion of nitrofurantoin. Pyrazinamide and ethambutol may interfere with uricosuric action of probenecid. Note : Ampicillin is a penicillin.
