Bursae particularly apt to become tuberculous are those about the hip, i.e. tronchontric bursa; the subdeltoid; the olecranon, the prepatellar; the retrocalcaneal; and the gluteal bursa. Note: Subacromial bursa is also called as subdeltoid bursa.
