The best modality of treatment in a patient with acute inferior wall MI is:

I.V fluids are sterile solutions comprising of simple chemicals i.e, sugars, electrolytes and amino acids. An occasional patient with inferoposterior LV infarction also has extensive RV infarction. Prognosis in such patients is generally good provided with good suppoive care and recanalization therapy. Suppoive care includes I.V fluids administeration and on some occassion use of dobutamine positive inotropic therapy. Digoxin is indicated in atrial fibrillation.
