While plating a child had a blunt injury to the left eye. All of the following can happen in this child, EXCEPT:

Optic nerve injury commonly associated with fractures of the base of the skull. These may be in the form of traumatic papillitis, lacerations of optic nerve, optic nerve sheath hemorrhage and avulsion of the optic nerve from the back of the eye. Commotio retinae is a characteristic pattern of retinal whitening that occurs after severe closed globe ocular contusion. It generally develops 180deg opposite the site of impact, the shock wave travelling posteriorly in the eye to strike the fundus (contrecoup injury). Choroidal rupture is tearing of the retinal pigment epithelium, characteristically in a crescentic or curvilinear shape oriented tangentially to the optic disc margin, after closed globe ocular contusion. Traumatic iritis frequently develops after closed globe injury. There may be a Vossius ring of dark brown iris pigment on the anterior lens capsule. Ref: Augsburger J.J., Correa Z.M. (2011).
